Irena Gajic (1987) is a trained architect and practicing illustrator based in Belgrade. She holds master’s degree from Faculty of Architecture. She entered the world of illustration in 2014. Irena is a member of Synergy Art illustration agency (London, since 2018) and the Association of Applied Arts Artist and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDS, since 2019). She provided illustrations for international exhibition of architecture and design Chicago Biennale (2017) and was an exhibiting author at the Lisbon Architecture Triennial (2019). Irena was representing Serbia at international exhibition of architecture Bienalle di Venezia (2021) as part of the group of architects MuBGD. The recognizable style of her illustrations is based on axonometric representations of bold color, often featuring interiors, rooms, buildings and complex structures. Her work is published in many printed and online international magazines and other publications.
